Cell phones?

Question by cherrysnowcone08: Cell phones?

i have an old phone, the one i got when i first signed on to t-mobile. i want a new phone and apparently i can only get one if i upgrade. does anyone know of certain stores that sell cell phones? a store that has them for a lower value. i want a pink razor but i dont want it for 0…i mean all you really have to do is switch the little chip in the back and your set to go? so are there stores out there that sell cell phones for lower prices? not used though, new, or atleast in fairly new condition…thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by Joe M
Your best bet is Ebay. I took over my fathers cell phone contract to keep him from paying early termination fees and he had lost the phone to it. I bought a decent phone to use until the contract renewed and was very happy with it. Doing a qucik search showed many just like you are looking for.

Hope that helps.

I noticed you specified new. Not many places to buy a new phone without a contract or ridiculous price. Descriptions are generally pretty decent on Ebay. Also, if you buy one you can take it in to your local T-Mobile store and they should program it to work with your number.

Blackberry Bold 9700 User Review

The Best Value for Money Package that Can Make You An Addict

51P7IPvOwfL. AA280 Blackberry Bold 9700 User ReviewThe Blackberry Bold 9700 looks smart and solidly constructed, giving it an impression of quality.

This phone has it all – 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, autofocus camera, a first for Blackberry that has everything.

It is easy to set up. For example, the WiFi connection is simple, and when you’ve done that the phone will always access the Internet by WiFi whenever your defined network is within range. I am not what the limit is but you can set up as many networks as you like.

Setting up the Blackberry push email service is also a doddle, and you can do it on the phone itself or on your mobile provider’s web site. You just have to supply the phone’s IMEI and Blackberry pin to create the account, and then you tell it which email accounts to access. All it needs for each account is the email address and password, and you are done. The Blackberry service will then scoops up all your emails and sends them to the phone. Please note that this is not just a case of copying emails to the phone, it is a fully synched service where if you delete an email on the phone it is also deleted from the email account

The GPS function also works great and it enables me to get fixes to within 10 feet even when indoors, if close to a window. However, the supplied Blackberry Maps software is effective but looks crude, the Google Maps is a much better package and integrates perfectly.

The Blackberry Bold 9700 has a good camera which produces excellent images. The LED flash is inevitably weak, but daylight shots compare very well with those from my previous phone, an SE CyberShot. Although it is only a 3.2M pixel unit, but that is not the sole measure of picture quality. As a phone camera this is considered more than good enough for me.

Something I should mention here is its ability to sync with Google contacts list. Editing contacts is so much easier on a computer screen. Blackberry Bold 9700 allows you to sync your contact list in the phone to Google and allows you to manage the list easily in Google and then have the list updated back to the phone.

It has all the expected functions of a smart phone. The Blackberry Bold 9700 has worked perfectly for me, and it all works fast. There’s no delay in opening applications, I’ve had no hang-ups, no crashes and no unfortunate occurrences.

If you one that prefers a qwerty key phone then Blackberry Bold 9700 is the smart phone that delivers unrivalled communication facilities for you.

I do not use a hands free phone, but i do use the phone when driving regularly.

It does not effect my driving at all. I also can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Cell phones do not cause accidents. Failure to control the vehicle causes collisions.

Answer by Gina
I am not sure, but I know that in California I believe it may become a law soon that people cannot use a cell phone while driving. I hope so, have you ever driven behind someone who was on a cell phone? They drive too slow! What is so important that they cannot wait?

Answer by xashuhleeeexxx
you have to be 19 or over in most states. hands free is better, its like youre talking to someone i the car. i actually drive alot better when im on the phone because i know i need to concentrate more. i dont think people talking on phones cause accidents, its like if they drop it or arent paying attention

Answer by Fred C
People who believe using a cell phone while driving is just basic multi-tasking and doesn’t affect their driving are sadly deluded. Every person who talks on a cell while behind the wheel should be forced to watch a video of him/her self. It absorbs enough of your attention that your reactions, unbeknownst to you, are slowed. It only takes a fraction of a second delay at 60 mph to kill or be killed. We will never know what percentage of accidents are caused by cell phone use, but you can call any police force you want, and find traffic officers that have attended accident scenes and found cell phones on the floor, TURNED ON, and sometimes STILL CONNECTED! Nobody sees the driver throw it there, but there is no other explanation. I will not use the cell phone in traffic, or on the highway, except in emergency. Twice I have used it while driving to call police.

Jersey had a hand free law but not really enforced.
I do not know the answer to your question, but it is getting dangerous out there. too many people talk and not concentrate on the driving.

cell phones?

Question by xiaoxlili: cell phones?

I am planning to purchase a cell phone within the next few months. I don’t know much about cell phones.. and I just came back from CES and saw some amazing cell phones. Could anyone tell me out of these three phones, which one is the best? Or describe the differences? (besides companies and how they look like)
LG Chocolate, Samsung SGH E900, Samsung SCH -u510

I have the LG 8300 and it is fabulous! It is the best phone I have ever owned! I’ve had samsung phone and, in my opinion, they are crapy!

The 8300 allows you to take pictures, video and mp3s. It has great sound and has great battery length!

In my opinion, LG phones are the best and most user friendly phones around!

If you have to choose one of those three choose the LG Chocolate!

Answer by synjhindb
LG chocolate, great look, not features. E900, not bad. Go for it. the U510, not worth it.

Answer by nonyobuziness
don’t get the chocolate. thats all i’m telling you. it scratches easily. unless you want to put it in a cover. the cover that verizon gives looks cheap and ugly. also, the touchpad is the most annoying thing ever. you will want to throw it because the touch things is the worst. The keypad is horrible. Unless you have baby fingers, you don’t want to push the buttons. they are so small and hard to press.

Answer by Uzlu2919
Alright, personal experience about the LG chocolate!!!
It looks great, but you know the buttons that sense your touch…they are just too delicate, and when you are talking on your phone your cheek can sometimes be touching the buttons and pressing them, that gets annoying. Also if you place a call with the phone open then want to use it closed the call will end, you can not even change that setting so that the call will end when you press end. Also other buttons get pressed when you try to press another button then you get delayed because it is opening another application. Also the screen is very sensitive, it can scratch easily so you will be buying those screen protectors and that will just add more expenses for you…
I do like LG as a brand although the chocolate is NOT a great phone

What would happen if cell phones were in someones body, then all calls at the same time?

You've seen phones of mobile to exploit the popcorn. the number of mobile phone radiation amounting to do damage to a body human? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V94shlqPlSI How does it compare with other common wireless routers as a broadcaster WLAN and mobile units TV?

This video phone has proven to be a hoax. There is a heater under the table. Cell phones do not use microwaves, magnetrons not have been (like microwave ovens), and unidirectional antennas are not asked to provide the popcorn. So, that said, let's stick to phones throughout the body. Is it set to vibrate or not?
